A further bad record on energy supplier switching.

Last month, energy switching hit another negative record.

The latest figures issued by ElectraLink display almost 91k switches concluded in May.

The report suggests, this is the second all-time monthly low in 2022, after 94k adjustments of supplier (CoS) successfully finished in January.

In the last few months, rising energy prices forced many suppliers to leave the market.

The exits have left limited options for customers searching for cheaper energy deals.

The number of energy switches is lower by 78% compared to the same month last year and 29% lower than that in April this year.

A further bad record on energy supplier switching.
