The UK system opened ~13.7 long with demand at 310mcm, remaining above seasonal normal.
Weather revisions have turned a touch warmer on Wednesday morning, which has ensured a soft open on the front of the curve in the UK market with prices falling at the prompt.
Temperatures are expected to be at and below 0°C over the weekend but temperatures are set to warm at a quicker rate than first predicted.
Stronger wind generation has helped to reduce CCGT demand by 30 mcm this morning, with the system lengthening since open.
The price of Oil ticked up as strong Chinese economic data released, implying a stronger demand for the commodity.
This continues to play off against US production levels that are expected to continue to grow with data published this afternoon.
