NBP gas prices have opened higher this morning predominantly off the back of colder weather.
The latest 45-day forecast shows a large colder change compared to the previous forecast, which has, drove prices up at the prompt.
The system is around 12mcm long with the main change in flows Day on Day being 14mcm ramp up at St. Fergus.
Demand is down around 20mcm from yesterday as LDZ has dropped away after the snow and cooler temperatures yesterday.
Brent oil has firmed this morning off the back of a weaker dollar and the bounce back of global stock markets after the sharp losses we saw last week.
