Daily Energy Market Report 7th December 2017
A similar story to yesterday, the market has opened lower this morning due to comfortable system dynamics and a falling oil price.
Oil is down off the back off rising US output.
The system opened approximately 7mcm long this morning with a healthy supply from Norway; however, it has moved 4.5mcm short at time of writing.
There are two LNG cargoes predicted to hit the UK on the 11th and the 16th of December.
Temperatures are expected to drop below seasonal normal on Saturday and remain below for the rest of the week.
Wind is down on yesterday however, levels are still above seasonal normal and wind generation is reducing the demand on gas for power.
