Daily Energy Market Report 19th October 2017
Mostly mild weather outlook for the UK, with some potential volatility.
Demand forecasts have slightly increased, as Power burn is set to increase as wind generations levels fall next week.
For the Continent, there seems to have been a warmer shift in forecasts, with demand outlook dropping.
The NBP system has opened long this morning (15mcm).
IUK exports have fallen, as have Langeled flows.
Norwegian flows to the continent have remained unchanged, Russian flows have increased 9mcm day on day – due to higher Velke flows.
Oil prices have opened stable this morning, supported by the ongoing OPEC led supply cuts, Middle Eastern tensions and falling US production following the hurricane enforced closures.
As Power prices decrease, this is weighing on Gas prices.
